After suffering a 1-10 to 1-14 league defeat away to Ballydesmond on Sunday 27th April in very wet conditions, Kanturk Intermediate footballers focus on their opening championship tie against Glanworth at Killavullen on Saturday 3rd May with a 6.45pm start.
Kanturk and Glanworth cross championship paths for the third year in succession and the North Cork side hold the upper hand having won on both previous encounters in the past two years. Kanturk will be hoping for a change of fortune on this occasion but they will be without Eoghain O'Connor & John Healy who are on the long term injured list and with a number of other players carrying slight knocks there could be a few championship debuts on the night.
