DARREN GETS RUN OUT WITH CORK SENIORS

posted 7 Jan 2016, 01:01 by Kanturk Gaa
Kanturk's Darren Browne saw game time with Cork Senior hurlers when he came on as a sub late in the second half of the Munster senior hurling league defeat to Clare at Sixmilebride on Sunday last 3rd January. Cork lost out 0-14 to 1-14.
With Cork senior hurlers doubly involed over the coming weekend, other Kanturk players, Anthony Nash, Lorcain Mc Loughlin and Aidan Walsh may see game time and hopefully Darren Browne will get further senior match experience.
For the record, Cork play UCC in the Canon Michael O'Brien cup at the Mardyke on Saturday 9th January 2.30pm and then travel to Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney on Sunday 10th January for a tilt with the home side in the Munster Senior hurling league at 2pm.
