Intermediate Hurlers get first league points

Kanturk Intermediate hurlers recoverd from the consession of two early goals to fashion a 3-08 to 2-08 victory over Fr O' Neills at Mallow on Sunday last 18th March. It was a win based on hard work and the skill of Anthony Nash who played at midfield for the second half drove Kanturk on to victory. Kanturk's next game is away to Eire Og on weekend of 1st April.
 
In Juvenile affairs Kanturk U18 footballers had an easy 4-16 to 1-3 victory over St Kevins at Ballyclough on Monday 19th March while our U14 footballers had a fruitless trip to Castlehaven losing in the 1st round of the Cork Feile Peil on a 1-5 to 6-11 score line.
 
In Ladies football Kanturk 14 ladies played 3 games in the Feile Peil competition defeating Newmarket 1-5 to 1-4 and Banteer 2-3 to 0-1 while losing to Dromtarriffe by 0-1 to 2-2.
