Intermediate Hurlers Suffer Second League Defeat

Kanturk Intermediate Hurlers came unstuck when the concession of a late goal played its part in their 1-10 to 1-16 defeat to Eire Og at Ovens on Saturday last.
The Intermediate Footballers return to action with a midweek game, traveling to the well appointed Riverstown venue to face East Cork side Cloyne with an 8.30pm start.
In U21 football the Duhallow championship semi final involving Kanturk & Millstreet is down for Saturday next at Banteer with a 4pm start.

The Junior 'B' Football league game against St John's is refixed for Kanturk on Wednesday next April 11th with a 7pm start.
In underage affairs the Minor hurlers got their north league underway with a 4-13 to 4-11 victory over Dromtarriffe.  The under 13 and 14 footballers lost on the double to Thomas Russells on 3-5 to 5-8 and 4-11 to 4-13 score lines respectively.  Our under 12 footballers also tasted defeat losing to Dromtarriffe on a 3-7 to 4-12 score line.
Our U14 hurlers travel to Fermoy to play the home team on Saturday next 7th April in the Feile na nGael U14'B'H 1st round with a 4pm start.
On Monday next 9th April the U16 hurlers host Fermoy at the Kilroe field while our U13 footballers host Knocknagree at the Freemount Rd field, both games have a 7pm start.
On thursday 12th April our U18 hurlers have a home tie with Newmarket (7pm) and our U14 hurlers travel to Ballyhea to face the home team also with a 7pm start.
