INTERMEDIATE FOOTBALLERS KEEP CHAMPIONSHIP HOPES ALIVE

posted 11 Nov 2013, 14:13 by Kanturk Gaa
Three days after their hurling counterparts secured county championship honours, Kanturk Intermediate footballers travelled to Mallow to face Glanmire in round 4 of the Cork county championship, nearly six months after their opening win over Youghal. Kanturk were slow to settle and looked rusty in the opening half, but once they found their feet and range in the second period, Kanturk aided by an Anthony Nash goal went onto defeat Glanmire on a 1-11 to 1-06 score line and set up a quarter final tie with Glanworth.
