Kanturk Intermediate hurlers came up short in their Cork Intermediate Hurling final with Kilworth at Pairc Ui Rinn on Sunday 14th October, losing by a two point margin after the hours play. Indeed Kanturk got off to a dream start racing into a 1-4 to 0-0 lead after 10 minutes but a Kilworth goal midway through the half brought them back into the game but Kanturk finished the half well and led at the interval by 4points. A Kilworth goal on the resumtion was the lift they required and cuppled with Kanturk shooting over 17 wides throughout the hour it was Kilworth who were the victors on a 2-15 to 2-13 scoreline.
