KANTURK PLAYERS HELP STEER CORK TO MUNSTER FINALS

Over the past two Sunday's, Kanturk players played their part in guiding Cork senior teams to Munster championship finals in both hurling and football. In the Munster Hurling Semi Final played at Limerick on Sunday 23rd June, a top class display by Anthony Nash who made some wonderful saves along with chipping in with two pointed frees as Cork won by 0-23 to 0-15 and book a place in the Munster Final in which Limerick will have home advantage on Sunday 14th July with a 4pm start,.
A week previous, Aidan Walsh was kept in reserve until the last twenty minutes of Cork Senior footballers victory over Clare at Ennis on June 16th. Cork now go on to face Kerry in the Munster final at Killarney on Sunday 7th July with a 2pm start.
