UNDER 14 CHAMPIONSHIP SUCCESS HIGHLIGHT OF PAST WEEK

The highlight of the past weeks activities at Juvenile level was the success of Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) in the Rebel Og North U14'A' football championship final played at Newmarket on Thursday 17th July with Doon Rovers providing the opposition. Both sides met twice earlier in the season with honours shared. Wolfe Tones set about retaining the title and were successful on a 10-11 to 3-15 score line.
In minor football,  Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) made their championship exit when going down to Castlehaven at Dunmanway in the Rebel Og Central U18 Prem2 football championship on Friday 18th July losing on a 3-08 to 4-14 score line.
Blarney housed the Rebel Og Central U16 Prem2 hurling championship tie between Cucullains (Kanturk) and Eire Og on Thursday 17th July. It was a close contest with Cucullains (Kanturk) coming up short on a 0-11 to 0-14 score line.
