There is a busy weekend of action over the St Patrick's weekend with games listed for all three days of the weekend. A busy St Patrick's day gets underway with a home Rebel Og Central U15 Prem2 league game with Inniscarra with a 10.30am start. The U12 footballers host Lyre in the Rebel Og North league on the same morning with an 11am start.
All roads lead to Cork and Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday with Cork Hurlers facing Galway at 12.45pm followed by the Cork footballers squaring up to old rivials Kerry with a 2.45pm start. With Lorcan Mc Loughlin lining out for the hurlers and Aidan Walsh facing Kerry, a large Kanturk contengent should make the trip to the Pairc.
On the way home, Kanturk Intermediate hurlers stop off at Mallow to play Fr O' Neills in their second league game of the season. Kanturk will be hoping to show a big improvement on their 2-05 to 2-18 loss to Mallow last week, but were hampered having to field without 5 first teamers including their Cork contengent.
On Monday 19th March the Minor footballers make the short trip to Ballyclough to play the home team, St Kevin's, in the Rebel Og North U18'A'FL, and our U14 footballers make the long trip to west Cork to face Castlehaven with a 2.30pm start.
Heres hoping for a successful weekend on all fronts.
